Porsche Cayman Picture

Thought I'd put up a picture of the Cayman. A lot of people confuse it with the Cayenne, which is obviously completely different!

The Cayman is coming

The new Porsche Cayman is now available so I thought I'd see what is around. New models usually hold up well on residuals and this one is no different. This means that rentals start at around £599 per month plus VAT on a 3 year deal (3+35). (www.skyfleet.co.uk)

Best get your order in now as these are likely to have long wait for delivery.

Other cheapies

Other cheap cars to look out for at the moment around the £100 mark per month are Fiat Panda (hmmm!), Peugeot 1007 and Mitsubishi Colt.

I'm still on the lookout for a real bargain in this category though because quite frankly £100 per month for a Fiat Panda is more than enough!

£99 a month, are you mad?

If your on a tight budget then a £99+VAT lease deal is about as low as you an go. The selection of cars in this category isn't great but as an example hr-cars.com have a Citroen C1 Vibe at this price based on 3+23, 10k miles per annum.

If you try hard enough you could even find a deal at £99 including VAT. Good luck!

Lambo not for you? How about an Aston Martin DB9?

Not much cheaper but a bit more class than the Lambo. £1469 + VAT for an Aston Martin DB9 V12 Touchtronic. bespokevehiclesolutions.co.uk

Lamborghini Gallardo (can you afford it?)

Not the cheapest lease car on the market today at £1,910 per month plus VAT but if you've got the cash you can have one from vehicleconsulting.com. You'll have to put 3 months down and keep it for 36 months, ouch!

Mercedes Smart ForFour Short Termers

If you don't want to commit to longer term lease deals then consider this - for just £135 per month + VAT for 12 months (1+11 payment profile) you can have a brand new Smart ForFour 1.1 Cool Style!

I found this offer at heroncontracthire.co.uk but there's loads of brokers out there offering deals on this car at the moment. Just watch out for servicing costs on these cars as you'll pay Mercedes labour rates!

Audi Q7. Deals to be had.

The new Audi Q7 4x4 is a great looking motor and as is typical of a new entry into the market, residual values are strong. This means that there's some good deals out there - how about £482 per month (3+35, 10,000 mpa) for the 3.0TDI Quattro Tip Auto? freedomcontracts.com.

Mind, it will be a lot easier to find a deal than find a car - expect lead times to be long!

Mazda RX-8 Heaven

It's the two door car with four doors, the 1.3 engine with 190 bhp, and out there for not much money. Looking around the web I've found a number of seeming great deals from around £240 a month plus VAT.

look4carleasing.co.uk have one at £239.99 over a 3 year term but they're not the only ones. Shop around, you may get one even cheaper!
